Micah Davis-Wheeler is a New Orleans based artist who is a jack of many trades and master of some. His education at the San Francisco Art Institute both brightened his love of painting and encouraged to him investigate performance art, art installation, and the Arts and Crafts Movement. An integration of these disciplines has been an objective in his work. There is also a heavy emphasis on Costuming and Prop Making which has found venue in numerous Mardi Gras parades and theatre productions. Today he works as a Costumer in the Film Industry and maintains a painting studio. He dabbles in music and writing, known to be a show-off harmonica player and purveyor of the "Great American Tale Tall" which he will reluctantly write down but prefers to deliver in spoken word or song. These two talents combined in street performance, and have proved to be effective in supporting the obsession with international travel which has dominated his youth. He has really bad allergies but makes good pancakes.
